What's collected
Your name, roll number or application number, campus, program, batch, current section, the sections you're looking for, a WhatsApp number, a security question answer for password resets, and either the admission screenshot or nu.edu.pk email used to verify your account.
Why
The screenshot or verified email confirms you're a real FAST student. The section and contact info are what actually make matching and connecting work. The security answer exists only so you can reset your password without needing an official email issued early enough to rely on, unless you chose to skip that at signup.
Who sees what
Other students only ever see your name and current section in the match list. Your contact info is only shared once you've both agreed to connect, never before. Whoever runs the site can see pending and reported accounts to review them.
Where it's stored
In a Postgres database and a file storage bucket, both run by third-party infrastructure providers, not sold or handed to anyone else, not used for ads — this site runs none.
Deleting your data
There's a delete account option on your matches page. It removes your profile, swap history, screenshot, everything tied to your account, immediately, not on a delay.
